Little help here?

So I’m trying to figure out exactly what this blog will look like over the next couple of years. I’ve committed myself to putting some serious time into RLP. I thought maybe you could help me think about this.

Clarification

Clarification:

Some comments on my last post have made me realize how badly I wrote something. When I referred to people who are outside of Christianity as not having scriptures, I was thinking of people who are outside of the worldviews of organized religion. Of course I know that other religions have their own scriptures. I wrote that quickly and really just as a quick update. It was written poorly and not what I intended.

When will you hear something about the results?

I had hoped to spend some time this week working with this, but I really wasn't thinking clearly about my calendar. I leave Tuesday evening to go to Laity Lodge to lead a retreat with Jeanene and our friends Milton and Ginger Brasher-Cunningham. A number of you know Milton from his blog. The four of us will be leading a retreat through Saturday. If I can get internet access there, I'm going to post some photos, etc. during the retreat. But I'm not going to take the time I need to process all the emails. That will be a project for the week after. I'll keep the hell@RealLivePreacher.com open for a few more days to gather any more emails that come in. Then I'll wade into it all and try to make sense of it.

Hell article

Just interesting to note that your followup on the Hell article mentioned you and Milton. Fascinating coincidence of his name with your subject. Okay, Paradise Lost is not exactly scripture, but Milton does say, interestingly that in Hell "there is neither joy nor love, but fierce desire," and that "The mind is its own place, and in it self
Can make a Heav'n of Hell, a Hell of Heav'n." I'll steer away from quoting Milton's Satan now and look forward to the scriptural approach. Thanks for covering a tough subject.

My Latest Book

turtles I’m proud to announce that Turtles All The Way Down came out in November of 2009. This was my first experience with the Consafo model of social media community publishing.

2000 copies were printed. We sold well over 500 as advance purchases or in the weeks leading up to Christmas. This paid for the printing costs completely.

Purchase at GracefullThings.
